FAQ

Are traditional funerals available for someone who dies of AIDS?

Yes. A person who dies with AIDS or an AIDS-related illness is entitled to the same services as anyone else. In fact, because the grief of survivors may include a variety of feelings, the funeral ritual can provide much needed support for survivors. Touching the deceased is perfectly safe.
