Muncie – Bradford L. Southwick, 69, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Bethel Pointe Rehabilitation.

He was born in East Cleveland, Ohio on November 20, 1948, the son of William and Betty (Hauswald) Southwick and graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1967.

Muncie – Bradford L. Southwick, 69, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Bethel Pointe Rehabilitation.

He was born in East Cleveland, Ohio on November 20, 1948, the son of William and Betty (Hauswald) Southwick and graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1967.

He served his country honorably in The United States Air Force during The Vietnam War from 1969 until 1973. He later graduated from Ball State University with a BA in Business Management.

Brad retired from Carter Express in Building Maintenance after several years and also owned and operated New Beginnings Construction.

He was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church where he served in children’s worship and also served on several mission trips to the Yucatan, Honduras, and Dominican Republic.

Brad loved gardening and woodworking along with creating stained glass.

Survivors include his loving wife of forty-eight years, Terry (Neilson) Southwick; his daughter, Aimee Southwick; grandchildren, Nathaniel Southwick, William Southwick, Madeline Southwick-Voors, and Ella Southwick-Voors; his brothers and sisters, Barbara Southwick-White, Christopher Southwick (wife, Debbie), Candice Southwick, Linda Southwick-Morse (husband, Tom), and Randolph Southwick (wife, Barbara); a sister-in-law, Wendy Neilson-Sandoval (husband, Sandy); an aunt, Laverne Southwick; also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jared Southwick in 2011; and his parents.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Pat Smith and Rev. Carrie Jo Miller officiating.

Family and friends may call from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
