Albany – Frankie June Jeffers, 79, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Wyoma, Tennessee on June 7, 1938, the daughter of Paul and Pauline (Jeffers) Dyer and was raised in Scott County, Tennessee. Frankie attended Huntsville High School.

Albany – Frankie June Jeffers, 79, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Wyoma, Tennessee on June 7, 1938, the daughter of Paul and Pauline (Jeffers) Dyer and was raised in Scott County, Tennessee. Frankie attended Huntsville High School.

She was a homemaker, taking care of her family and farm. Frankie enjoyed gardening, canning quilting, needlepoint and her flowers. She adored her grandchildren and loved to spend time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of sixty-three years, Benton L. Jeffers; her children, Randy Jeffers, Debra Crabtree (husband, Jeff), Vicky Russell (husband, Steve), Nancy Jeffers Mackey (wife, Bernadine), and Denzil Hyler; her grandchildren, LeAnn Hileman (husband, Chris), Daniel Russell (wife, Lindsey), Ronald Rohn Jr. (wife, Joady), Desiree Mackey, and Heather Rohn (husband, Robert); her great-grandchildren, Levi Russell, Kaylyn Hileman, Owen Hileman, Ethan Rohn, Elizabeth Rohn, Elise Rohn, Zachary Rock, and Hailey Rock; a sister, Nix Williamson; along with many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Ray Jeffers; three brothers, Glen Dyer, Bob Dyer, and Danny Ray Dyer.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 24, 2017 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel. Burial will follow in Black Cemetery of Albany.

Family and friends may call from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the mortuary.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Cancer Services of East Central Indiana (Little Red Door) or Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
