Jackie “Jack” Ashburn, 60, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly Tuesday morning, July 31, 2018, at his residence.

He was born in Muncie on January 6, 1958 the son of Ezra and Sara (Tucker) Ashburn and graduated from Delta High School.

Jack was a mechanic at various dealerships and repair shops.

Jackie “Jack” Ashburn, 60, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly Tuesday morning, July 31, 2018, at his residence.

He was born in Muncie on January 6, 1958 the son of Ezra and Sara (Tucker) Ashburn and graduated from Delta High School.

Jack was a mechanic at various dealerships and repair shops.

He was an avid bowler and coin collector. A member of Avondale Sympathy Club and especially enjoyed attending and watching his sons participate in their activities.

Surviving are two sons, Spencer and Tanner and their mother, Patty; his mother, Sara Ashburn, Muncie; his sister, Kathy Bauman, Muncie; his brother, John Ashburn, Muncie; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Keiauna; his father Ezra Ashburn; paternal grandparents, Elmer and Bernice Ashburn; and maternal grandparents, Jober and Geneva Carr.

Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 6, 2018, at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.

Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
