Muncie-Mark Allen Stamper, 57, passed away, Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at his home.
He was born on September 28, 1960 in Muncie, Indiana to Donald W. and Elaine (Freeman) Stamper. He was a graduate of Wapahani High School class of 1979. Mark spent his career as a General Contractor. He enjoyed worshipping and attending church, golfing, and relaxing with a movie.
Surviving are his sons: Joshua A. Stamper (wife Rebecca) of Georgetown, Kentucky, Matthew J. Stamper of Muncie, and Jakob Coburn of Muncie. Granddaughters: Elaine Stamper, Camilla Stamper, Lucille Stamper, and Taylor Gregory. His brothers: Donald Stamper of Muncie, David Stamper (Stacey) of Daleville. Uncle Everett Stamper (Jan) of Pendleton, IN, Aunts: Martha Randall (Robert) of Huntersville, NC, Jean Johnson, Linda Sherrell, Diane Inskeep (Butch) all of Muncie and Vonnie Sue Kidd (Charles) of Centerville, In. Also, two nephews, three nieces, two great-nephews, a great-niece, and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald W. Stamper and Elaine Friedman, his grandparents, Lucy and Woody Freeman, Geneva Johnson Stamper and Claude E. Stamper, and an Aunt, Claudette King.
A private viewing will be held for family with cremation to follow. A graveside memorial service and burial will be held at Gardens of Memory on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in Muncie, In.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to your local Salvation Army.
