She was born in Muncie on October 8, 1942 the daughter of Henry and Estella (Frye) Modglin and graduated from Muncie Central High School.

Fishers – Virginia Parker, 75, went to be with the Lord Sunday evening, February 11, 2018, at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville.

She was born in Muncie on October 8, 1942 the daughter of Henry and Estella (Frye) Modglin and graduated from Muncie Central High School.

Virginia enjoyed cake decorating, arranging flowers, outdoor life, gardening, camping, and especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her son, Scott Parker (wife, Amy), Commerce City, CO; her daughter, Ginger Savage (husband, Brent), Fishers; five grandchildren, Zachary, Samuel, Megan, Owen, and Courtney; three brothers, William H. and James D. Modglin, both of Muncie, and Donald G. Modglin, Davenport, FL; two sisters, Charlotte R. Logan, Muncie and Sylvia M. Tucker, Mansfield, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Virgil; five brothers, Albert M., Charles E., Thomas E., Richard, and Robert Modglin; and a sister, Phyllis J. Modglin.

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel with Jon Vance, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in Tomlinson Cemetery.

Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
