Danny and I became friends through work at Bracken Library and recreation at Camp Isanogel about 50 years ago. He was an amazing person and inspiration to all. He will be sadly missed. My sincere condolences to the family.

I knew Danny for many years though our Ball State connections. Always had a friendly word and smile. He was very dedicated to his work at Bracken library. His number and range of friends was amazing whichwas sucha reflection on how he treated others. Fond thoughts of this good man. Richard Harris

Brigitta (Gitta Beebe) and I would have loved to be at our classmate Danny’s calling, but due to Covid and the terrible weather, we are not able to attend. Danny had a remarkable life and accomplished so much. He was always nice and friendly to us and will be sorely missed at our class reunions. Once a Bearcat, always a Bearcat!

First met Danny in the 60’s thru United Cerebral Palsy & in later years always enjoyed meeting up with him at Sunshine Cafe when he lived on Oakwood. His endearing smile & personality continued to shine after his move to Westminster. Now, he’ll be watching down on all of us

Danny will long be remembered by volunteers and participants from past RHI Sports Adaptive Water Ski Clinics at Morse Reservoir. More than once we celebrated his June 9th birthday during the clinic. A few years ago Danny wrote a beautiful letter to RHI Sports explaining the joy he experienced gliding across the water on a sit-ski and how thankful he was for the opportunity. I am so very sad to hear of Dannys passing. my folks were dale and lucretia noward. you probably dont remember me well ... but I do remember Danny. He was an amazing person. My dad was so very fond of him. I just wanted to send you my thoughts and prayers as there are not many of my folks friends left now. I remember Danny around. We spoke once and he remembered my dad. He has had a very successful life. I have often wondered about you all. I will be thinking of you all thru this sad time ...

Danny was such a fun co-worker in Bracken. During Christmas we had a contest as to how many songs we remembered and sang them together. We had a way to tease each other and get us both laughing. He was such a wonderful person.

Thoughts and prayers over the loss of Danny. Danny was a wonderful man and my entire family was honored to work with him at Bracken Library. He always greeted us by name and a smile. We will miss him greatly.

What can you say about Danny, I've known him my whole life, he never missed a chance to talk to me. Heaven received a great one.

I met Danny many years ago at a singles group the Y was trying to organize. I crossed paths with him only rarely in the years to follow but he always remembered me and greeted me warmly. When my Mom was at Westminster Village he was in the apartment next to hers until she was moved to another location. He always had a warm smile and a friendly greeting. His accomplishments were remarkable! RIP, Danny. Your light shined on many many people while you were with us.

I can’t find enough words to describe what a loss this will be for so many that loved and valued Danny’s presence in their lives. He will be sorely missed. Such a wonderful man. Much love and comfort to his family.

Rarely can you have a challenged student who would be a perfect model for others. I was very fortunate to have that excellent student in class, Danny. Always positive, always friendly, always helpful. Danny was a wonderful friend and always full of joy. He made the best of life and I am honored to consider him a great colleague. JimLowry

Scott, Lisa and family, I am so sorry to hear of Danny's passing. He was a very dear person and I enjoyed talking and working with him. I pray that God wraps his loving arms around all the family and gives each of you the peace you need now and in the future days.

What a wonderful man. I am a better person for having known him. I got to know him at the Muncie Civic Theatre. Truly a kind soul. Heaven gained an angel.

I attended Muncie Central with Danny, graduating in the same class. I always loved being around Danny. He was smart, funny, caring, and one of the nicest people I have ever known. Seeing him at class reunions was always such a treat. We relived old stories and laughed at some of the silly moments. RIP my friend.

I am so very lucky to have worked with Danny at Bracken Library. He was like a ray of light, always smiling and happy. He and Jeff Koenker always made a point of attending the community history programs I did, and I was so honored by his attendance. I will miss his warm laugh and encouraging words. That kind of genuine friendship is rare, and I will never forget him. I'll be praying for your family.

I write to offer sincere condolences to Danny's family and dear friends. I was privileged to serve with Danny at the University Libraries for many years, and he was a valued colleague, who brought energy, passion, and a wonderful sense of humor to his work. Danny will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by those of us who benefited from his decades of service at the Ball State University Libraries.
