Muncie – Linda Lou Huey passed away peacefully on October 6, 2021 surrounded by her family and friends.  She was born July 8, 1943 to Richard and Bernice Buckmaster.

She was a member of the Audoban Society for many years. She also slung gears at Borg Warner until her retirement in 2005.

Linda was a woman of many interests and talents, she painted, planted, and made stuffed dolls. She was an adventurous woman who loved to travel and learn. She was very passionate about life and people.

Linda’s quote was, I hope I have set a good example of working hard and having tolerance of all people.  I believe the difference in people is what makes life interesting.  I believe in being a peacemaker and doing your best to love and help another.  Don’t forget to love yourself and be silly once in a while. Love. Learn, Forgive and have fun.

She was defender of the underdog, an advocate for animals, and made major contributions to Child Fund, Habitat for Humanity and Meals on Wheels.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Daniel C. Huey, one infant son; Daniel Jr., one daughter; Amber Huey – Stone in 2020; three siblings also preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter; Angela Huey, one son; Tony (Kim) Huey, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, her son-in-law Kegan Stone; three siblings; Arlene Green, Stewart Buckmaster, Lee Buckmaster, a very close and special friend; Kathy Halstead and of course her dog; Bucky and cat; Susie.
