Steven B. Johnson, 62, passed away January 27, 2019 at Wesleyan Health Care Center in Marion after an extended illness.
He was born January 27, 1957, in Muncie, the son of Lloyd and Malona (Gosser) Johnson. Steven attended Muncie Central High School and was a proud Bearcat. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1974.

Steven B. Johnson, 62, passed away January 27, 2019 at Wesleyan Health Care Center in Marion after an extended illness.
He was born January 27, 1957, in Muncie, the son of Lloyd and Malona (Gosser) Johnson. Steven attended Muncie Central High School and was a proud Bearcat. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1974.
Mr. Johnson was a semi-tractor trailer driver for many years, and enjoyed travelling the country with his family with him.
He loved watching football and basketball, and especially following the Colts and the Pacers. He enjoyed being with his buddies and was always joking and teasing his family.
Steven is survived by three daughters, Mickayla Johnson, Mickimsey Johnson, and Stephany Johnson; a grandson, Kyler Richards; sisters, Sue Johnson, Rosemary Smith, Beverly Enterkin (husband, John), and Peggy Cole; brother, David Johnson (husband, Tim Salyers); lifelong friend, Rodney Miller; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Danny Johnson.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Beech Grove Cemetery, with Military Rites conducted by the Delaware County Veteran’s Honor Guard.
