Sam was a wonderful professional at Ball State and a kind, caring father and husband. I got to know him as a graduate student at Ball State and he was just the best. Whether it was his love of animals, or the kindness he showed everyone, I know he will be missed, My condolences to his family.

The Dickson Family, Dr. Sam was a favorite client of the Westview Animal Clinic. I truly enjoyed each visit with Sam and his faithful Rottweiller. He was interesting to talk with and we exchanged pleasantries each visit. A fine man and who will be missed by those who knew him. ( I know where Sulfur Springs is) May God bless you and give you strength to endure this time of sorrow. Dr Neil Perrel

Dr. Dickson was our 6th grade teacher at Sulphur Springs school and one of our best. Several years later, Cindy met him on Ball State campus and visited with Dr. Dickson a short time. He was a kind, no nonsense teacher. Exactly what we needed. Please accept our condolences, Jim and Cindy Van Alst, Yorktown, IN
