So sorry for the loss of a truly fine man. Jim was in and out of my life for 20 years and he was always willing to give a helping hand when needed. RIP

So sorry to hear about Jim's passing - a great loss to all of us. He was one of the greatest and most loving persons on earth. While we won't be able to get over, give all of our love to everybody. Love you all - John & Cathy

We've known and been friends with the families for many years. Jim & I were both in the truck transportation industry for a lot of the same time periods. Strongly held beliefs - you knew where Jim stood. So glad I saw him 3 months ago and had a nice conversation. Our family send our love and condolences to the immediate family, and to all those extended family members, especially the grand-children. They hurt, too.

We stand with Jim's family during this difficult time. We share your sorrow. Many good memories come to mind of the days spent in your home that was within view of St. Lawrence. The activity in that home was never ending with what seemed to me was a never ending flurry of of sibling constantly in and out of the doors. Even back then I could see that Jim was held in high regard and looked up to by the family members in that home. I purposely use the word home and not the word house. The love and respect those in that place had for your parents, Jim and everyone living there made it a home not a house. Jim Shaw will be missed by many.
